In the past, providers ...This is good work, thanks,<br />In the past, providers have defeated Medicare's cost controls by upcoding and increased utilization.<br />Seems to me that this will happen again-- but maybe not. I welcome your comments.<br /><br />Also -- the sheer number of persons in Medicare will grow. The number turning 65 is more than the number who die. Won't this create some budget pressure even if the costs per enrollee stay flat? Seems to me that Medicare will move toward a cost of $1 trillion a year no matter what.
